Public Involvement

The public involvement process for the Silt I-70 pedestrian and bike overpass during the concept planning study was undertaken with three goals in mind:

  1. Discuss items of interest and inform the public by providing key project information, gather input, and respond to comments and concerns.
  2. To conduct a public involvement process that was inclusive, flexible, and responded to public input, project needs, and developments.
  3. To provide ongoing and timely communication with public participants and key stakeholders.
 
Three public input meetings were held: 
  • Public Meeting 1 – Virtual – Held August 11-25, 2021
  • Public Meeting 2 – Held June 3, 2022
  • Public Meeting 3- Held June 13, 2025
