Project Background
To enhance connectivity and safety, the Town of Silt is proposing a pedestrian and bike overpass to cross the Union Pacific Railroad and I-70, with connections to the River Frontage Road on the south side and Main Street (US 6) on the north side. A MultiModal Options Fund grant was awarded to the Town in 2020 to begin the planning and design process for the overpass.
The Town of Silt is currently seeking grant funding to complete project design. Once project design is finished, further grant funding will be sought to pay for project construction.
